After a good workout last night, I went home to assemble my order requested by the Electric Fetus in St. Cloud. I had a lot of fun using some of my new picks and even caught up on Heros (Season 3, don’t I wish I could do that at my normal job??) and had many conversations with Dagny about not stealing the picks or chain I was working with… But she in her little kitty mind just didn’t understand this.

It’s all packaged up, addressed and in the mail today. I’m excited to hear from them when they get it!

Cross your fingers that they sell well and want to order tons more from me (wouldn’t that be nice??)

THE ELECTRIC FETUS! That is beyond amazing. I can’t even explain. I’m beyond giddy!

It’s the perfect venue! Old records! Music everywhere! Kitchy jewelry and gifts! I might faint.

I better email their buyer back…

HandmadeMN hosted a get together at Nye's Polonaise room in Minneapolis that featured a lovely discussion with Etsy's CEO, Maria Thomas.

It was so awesome to meet her! I loved the discussion (which you can find in bits here) and getting to meet the rest of the HandmadeMN team (and others!).

I'm glad I went. Maria's energy should be bottled and sold! She's a great leader for this great organization!

Etsy News: Meet the CEO

BIG NEWS! HandmadeMN is meeting with Etsy CEO Maria Thomas!! How amazing is that!?

We have decided to put together a sample “Swag Bag” for her with MN themed items or items from our shops for her to take home.

This little meet and greet will be amazing! I’m super excited to meet her and we all want to pick her brain a bit, I’m sure. It will be fantastic to be so up close and personal with Etsy after all this time selling on the site! It makes it feel a lot more real to be selling there, putting a face and a person with the company!
